The Nilpena Ediacara National Park sits on the lands of the Adnyamathanha people, the Traditional Owners of the land. The Adnyamathanha people have been living on and caring for Country for tens of thousands of years and have a deep understanding of the land and the cultural significance of sites across Country.
The name Adnyamathanha means ‘Rock People’ referring to the incredible rocky landscapes of Adnyamathanha Country.
